Schitt's Creek is one of those shows I just watch over and over. I finish and then go right back to the pilot episode. I love seeing how y'all are reacting already!

It's when it starts to develop ongoing storylines that it really becomes great. Oh -- and you already know that Eugene Levy and his son play father and son... but his daughter is also in the cast, playing the waitress at the café.

2021-03-31 09:36:33 +0000 UTCThe show takes a bit to stick it's landing (though it's not bad until it does), but once it does its a sweet over the top show that has a ton of heart. Yeah I would kill Roland. There has to be a ditch behind the motel to bury his corpse.

I think I was just slightly more irritable than usual when I watched the first episode.. but yeah, I didn't continue the series until months later, and I 100% do not regret. It's ..extremely clever, and funny, and honestly, very poignant at times.

Actually, as you said watching a family who loses everything in the beginning, I realized that it would be really neat if you two did this one at the same time as Arrested Development. Which has a similar premise but a totally different style and tone. Both are wonderful. Just a thought.
