This school is and show is a lot like Buffy in that regard. Everyone in the school or town by this point has seen some weird stuff, but no one really talks about it.

2021-04-08 21:36:43 +0000 UTCCyrus was traumatized to the loss of his parents and over time he convinced himself that he was an alien which was self-reinforcing because his fellow students rejected him for it which re-enforced his feelings of not-belonging. So much so, that he clung to the idea that he could go home and when that dream shattered, it took his mind with him.

2021-04-06 10:08:40 +0000 UTCYeah I would say Lana and the main cast aren't really fazed by the healing powers because it's not their first rodeo with meteor powers I mean she has seen Tina Greer shape shift in front of her and Lana had meteor powers herself getting the visions of Chloe being kidnapped, and a guy make a double of himself etc. So some healing powers aren't really that crazy to them anymore.
