Saul had Huey steal the cigarette from Jesse only to make him “think” that he had accidentally poisoned Brock. Walter didn’t actually use the ricin on Brock. Afterwards Walter feigned to search and find the cigarette in Jesse’s house. Walt took it and hid the ricin capsule at his place. So Jesse couldn’t have smoke the wrong cigarette by mistake.
