This is an unpopular opinion. I think seasons 3 and 4 were solid with some great stuff, even though the first 2 were clearly better. However, this finale is trash. It contradicts things that were previously established, the "solution" doesn't make sense if you think about it for more than 5 seconds and for how much of a bummer it is, that's inexcusable. Amazing show, with some consistency issues and a massive, massive letdown of a finale that makes me retroactively wonder if the writers really did ever have any idea what they were going on about. It cheapens and invalidates everything that happened before and that's a finale's cardinal sin.
