I am not only glad that you're getting into this show but that you seem to like Alec. He's one of my favorites. Also the Seelies name is Meliorn pronounced Mel-E-Orn with the Vampire woman being Camille. Any who I'm so pyched for the next episode. One of my favorites of season 1. You'll definitely find out soon enough but I think the Alec and Izzy conversation this episode, which Alec is trying to ignore, might be a helpful place to start. The sword is called a seraph blade.
