I celebrated my birthday ONCE when I turned a year old and then it was never mentioned again. My family just DOESN'T DO BIRTHDAYS. Like we don't even wish each other happy birthday. It wasn't until I'm working and got a best friend that we started having birthday dinners and exchange gifts on our birthdays. It's nice to celebrate. Maybe not to the crazy extent of going to China lol, but if someone you love and care about thinks birthdays are important but you don't necessarily feel anything for your own, then just go the extra mile to do something sweet and special for them. Nick's trying for sure, I'll give him credit for that. He planned such a sweet surprise there but was just a little lost at what to do for the rest of the day. I'm sure he'll get better with time haha.

2021-05-06 11:14:44 +0000 UTCHonestly do not understand Jess here, I could give a crap about my birthday, the only time I really remember caring is once when I was 12 and we went to a waterpark but that also lined up with a friends birthday and I went with his family.
