2021-06-01 14:05:35 +0000 UTCAs far as I understood, the thing about the little girl was just that she was grieving and looking everywhere for her sister and that made her pay attention to little things other people ignore. (And probably something about children being more open and accepting because that’s on brand for Dr Who). So she didn’t actually do anything, she just overhead what the forest was saying about the solar flare and needing to grow, but she didn’t know where the thoughts came from so she thought they were her own and she was doing it. And the thought about needing to find the doctor came from Miss (ie Clara, her teacher). So it was Clara who ‘sent’ her to the doctor not the forest. And the doctor said the forest just did this sort of thing all the time but people forget. (And implied that they don’t listen for it or believe in it because they are rational adults). (As for why her sister turned up in a shrub 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Who knows 😂)
