Lex "I've never been sick my whole life." Lex you had malaria 2 weeks ago

Tina killed Van's dad when the military man came to give the news about Whitney's death to his mother... Tina who was in Whitney's form came out and the guy was surprised to see him before Tina/Whitney started beating him to death with a bat in that one scene.

Hey Steven, so I think we did see Tina Greer kill his dad but maybe I'm misremembering. Tina definitely did kill a soldier that went to Whitney's house to tell the family Whitney was dead, but Idk if it was him. As for Clark telling Lana the truth, I'm mostly in agreement, I would say he doesn't tell her for fear that knowing about his arrival with the meteor shower that killed her parents. He is technically a cause of their death since I'm pretty sure that meteor shower only occurred because of the ship

Yeah I still think this was a perfect time to tell Lana the truth. Back in Season 2 Clark had asked her if she’d be “weirded out” to find out if someone was meteor-infected- she said she’d “be lying if she said it wouldn’t freak her out a little” - this caused Clark behind the scenes to back away from telling her, but she revised herself here. And the fact that her first thought after Jesse Metcalfe told her about Clark was to call the police to get them over to HIS house not her was altruistic. Even when she was told that Clark was meteor-infected you can tell that her feelings for him never changed.

Yeah, this episode was callbacks-galore. Multiple callbacks to different meteor freaks, Lex' high white blood cell count from episode 1x7, then the car simulation introduced in 1x12, McNulty's dad from 2x11, the tornado from 2x1 and so on. The writer truly knew the story so far.

I really like this episode. They menton Lex has a super high blood count after his hair fell out during the meteor shower. In some comics its canon that Luther has super-human intelligence.. IQ well beyond geneus.

Nikita Pascari

Van McNulty's dad was the Marine who brought the news of Whitney's death to his mom and was killed by a baseball bat by Tina!Whitney (different actor though)

You have the title and episode of this episode wrong, Episode 3 “Extinction” I can’t wait to see your reaction to this episode. Van’s methods were extreme but with how bad the meteor affected had been since season 1, I a little bit understood his motives and when it came to the argument between Clark and Lana, I sided with Jake, no way should she have had sympathy for the crazy freak who tried to drown her because be got shot... if he didn’t get shot from Van, she could’ve died. So... no Clark. The main thing that Van said that stood out was definitely about Lana, “That girl's got so many guys tailing her she should qualify for secret service protection.”
