And tbh, I don't think she would want to be the person that got between someone's parents if they had a chance to make it work. She left the door open and said if we're ever going to work so I assume she means if he and Angela can't make it work, her and Ben can see if the fate bring them back together later.

And I think things needed to start this way to get to honestly a not great finale and a cancelation I hated. Just like young and hungry(also an awesome comedy) but I think this laid the bricks of what’s to come

2021-06-02 05:14:36 +0000 UTCTucker is definitely the show stealer this episode. I don’t like the back and forth either but maybe Riley isn’t really sure about Ben. She’s been holding onto this childhood/teenage “love crush” for so long that she probably feels like she is supposed to love Ben and she finally has her chance. Like honestly how could she have loved Ben all her life when he used to treat her like crap. He’s only been better to her now and not since they’ve been adults, just since season one episode one (he didn’t even know she lived in the city). He used to call her names because of her weight and ruined her sweet 16 surprise party. He was never nice to her. We see that in the flashbacks so far and in comments they’ve all made about the past. We can also totally see Riley has feelings for Danny but she probably feels like she shouldn’t because she’s supposed to be in love with Ben. She needs to let go of her past crush on Ben. Also, she might be totally scared that if her and Danny got together and it didn’t work that she’d lose him forever. I personally think she’s more scared of losing Danny than anything else. She’s already worried that he’ll distance himself from her since she’s dating Ben. Look how she reacted in the hall way when she left Ben’s room and saying nothing actually happened and also when Danny said he had gotten a new place.
