2021-08-09 00:51:25 +0000 UTCI love this episode, but ultimately the messaging about you can be awful to others and get everything that you want as long as you’re talented and work really hard, is really bad. And it’s why so many people get away with being shitty because they think they’re so talented that it makes up for it. My hunch is that this episode is an enabler to Lea Michele and her bad behavior. But hey, what do I know?

2021-06-04 07:05:10 +0000 UTCNow I wanna go watch 3x21. I haven’t seen it yet, I’ve been watching all the episodes for the first time with David. I know it’s on Netflix (which im probably gonna go to, to watch 3x21) but I didn’t wanna watch every episode twice so I watched it on here. And I gotta agree with David, I get that Rachel’s graduating but she gets enough solos. And for three years, she’s been the “star” in the group. I just don’t see what’s so special about her voice. Everyone else can sing just as well as her. In fact, I like Mercedes’s, Quinn’s, Santana’s, and Artie’s voice more. Even though I like their voices more, I still wouldn’t want any of them to be a star in the group. This is high school where everyone should get an equal spotlight.

2021-06-04 05:25:17 +0000 UTCI absolutely hated how incredibly dismissive everyone was on Tina’s feelings. Especially Mike. All she did was voice the exact same way everyone in glee club feels towards Rachel and they completely disregard her. And by the end she just ends up giving in and Rachel gets her way again. The writers absolutely dropped the ball on Tina’s character. So much wasted potential. Tina deserved better than what she got in this episode.

2021-06-04 04:47:14 +0000 UTCThis whole "Rachel sucks but she's talented" line is so annoying. Everyone complains about Rachel, feels bad about it then tells her she's better than they are. I wish this show would get into how this could ruin people’s self-esteem constantly putting one person in the spotlight. When I was in show choir this wasn't happening at all. Yes, I love Rachel's voice...its beautiful. I just don't like the way the show goes about her talent. This enables narcissistic traits in people when you constantly tell someone their actions don't matter because they're talented. They could've did something good with Tina and made her outburst have an impact but they didn't. What was the point of that storyline if she was just going to go back to what she did before which is staying in the background.

2021-06-04 04:39:15 +0000 UTCThat Puck scene in the locker room makes me cry every time I watch it just because i can relate to his family life and inner thoughts about himself. Honestly forgot how good this episode is and I’ve been realizing that a lot watching some of these episodes over again. But ahhhh finally my personal favorite 2 episodes are coming up. Definitely excited and ready to cry again:)))!!!
