2023-06-05 03:37:06 +0000 UTCThe reason nothing happened with Riley and Ben at the beginning of season 2 is because he slept with someone else the same night he danced with Riley on the roof and didn’t call the girl back. Riley didn’t like that he could do that and basically still claim he wanted to be with her. I don’t understand why Riley thinks Ben is in love with her already. “... if he loved me, he would fight for me, right?” It’s why I don’t like their relationship. I don’t honestly understand why she’s “loved him her whole life” when as I said before he treated her like crap when they were kids/teens and really hasn’t changed that much as a person. She never let herself get over him so I feel she still romanticizes him and what she thinks their relationship will be.
