also, i agree that jess sounded batshit crazy in that last scene. that came out of absolute nowhere. he was acting like rory didn't have an entire life that she'd have to leave if she just packed up and moved away with him.

My favorite part is when Liz is getting ready to say her vows and she goes "TJ?" and he's like "YEAH" On a fun side note, the dude who played TJ's brother is really his brother. Michael (TJ) and David DeLuise. I think Jess went a little overboard because he was concerned about seeing Dean there. I'm not sure he would have laid it on quite so thick if he had found Rory alone.

2021-06-09 10:44:31 +0000 UTCI really don't think it was Jess' plan to ask Rory to go away with him. he just got pissed that Dean was there and wanted them to get away from him as well as stars hallow. Its nice that we saw him fixing the relationship with Luke just for these few episodes just wished we saw more of the whole growth thing. As for the Lane and Mrs. Kim stuff this was a huuuge turning point and I'm so glad we got the scene with the guys in the apartment. It was funny as hell 😂

He said goodbye to his mom as he promised, he finally gave Luke the respect and appreciation he deserved from him and he explained to Rory that he changed and that he knows how much he screwed up back when they were dating. Ofc she was not gonna leave her entire life for him, but I commend him for putting himself out there at least. As other people commented here, this was a turning point episode for so many characters: Jess, Rory, Dean, Mrs Kim, Luke. Can't wait for the finale aka my favorite episode of the entire show ;)

I loved the scene with him and Luke, and him actually following through on walking his mom down the isle. Honestly, I don't blame Rory for using the douchey guy's tab to pay for food. He did bring her to a dodgy bar and then spent the night ignoring her to get drunk with his buddies. I think he had that coming! XD LOVED the Luke/Lorelai stuff at the wedding. The dance scene was so lovely to watch. Love that Mrs. Kim actually tried with Lane and the boys at the end. That was sweet. I know TJ is a little too quirky, but he's good for Liz. Dean looks so miserable, but he did this to himself. Rory tried to talk him out of getting married so young, and he ignored her. What the hell did he think was gonna happen when he married his rebound girl, right out of high school!
