On top of which, his mom especially seemed to favor Jace and you see how she treated Izzy the first day she showed up. And Alec and Izzy were basically scolded for helping Jace help Clary both who wouldn’t even listen to Alec so they lucky Alec even trying to help.

Being a vampire seems AWFUL. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I think what Alec is doing is very noble actually. His parents lied to him his entire life and made him feel like he was never good enough and even just a few episodes ago, that the Lightwood name was tarnished because of him and Izzy. Everything he's doing is a sacrifice for his family and what he thinks is right and just and I admire that about him very much
