In a scene they cut from the American version Ragar, Lagatha and Aslaug all slept together. During the battle Bjorn hesitated when he was knocked down and it took him longer to get off the ground, that coupled with the fear of maybe losing his son after just getting him back is why Ragnar said he needed more training.
