Regarding why it kept on getting blurry in the different dimension, it was what Meliorn was talking about. and what Magnus reiterated in the scene between him and Clary. If she doesn't accomplish what she set out to accomplish in a certain amount of time, i.e. have an anchor to her original dimension, she could lose herself in this one. The blurriness was a way to show that she was starting to become that version of Clary, but something always happened to pull her back in. It's not a conscious choice she was making - it's just when she would lose focus. Regarding Alec with the Mortal Cup, come on. Of course he would give up the cup to save his sister. Jace has basically abandoned his Parabatai to follow Clary around and he really doesn't need to show any loyalty to Clary. I would have completely supported his decision to do that honestly.

And I agree the wife's reason for killing was papaer thin but I guess they were trying to say that everything happened in the moment and the wife was filled with so much animosity that killing that man was a impulse. On the Castle and Beckett front, if you think it is frustrating waiting for a real moment to happen for them is hard for you think about watching the series in real time with summer breaks. 🤣 But seriously without spoiling anything for you this season is a fantastic season in terms of movement for Castle and Beckett's relationship. I think you will be happy with where this journey goes with them.
