I was just wondering how to watch this episode? Neither link works for me. Most of the vimeo ones after s3. ep 15 don't work either. I'm sorry, I'm new and I love this episode and would like to see it. Thanks for any help in advance!

2024-03-21 04:03:15 +0000 UTCI actually like Jake as a character separate from the whole Puckerman relation, but I also grew to appreciate that connection.

2021-06-26 11:41:27 +0000 UTCHe's on season 3 of Arrow and season 1 of Flash so he hasn't gotten to Supergirl yet.

2021-06-26 06:20:58 +0000 UTCI am really not a fan of s4. It's the weakest of all 6. I do like the new kids and I think they do the best they can. Since y'all watch DC shows, I'm not sure if you commented on it or if you recognize Marley played by melissa benoist who plays Supergirl in the CW show. The teacher, Cassandra, is played by Kate Hudson who's been in a lot of movies.

2021-06-26 04:21:39 +0000 UTCi haven't watched yet but i just want to second this. i went to a small town high school and a lot of graduating seniors would return throughout the year if they lived close. they'd come by, say hi to their old teachers, and "hang out." if they had anything to contribute like helping with musicals etc. they would. i'm sure it may not be like that everywhere and i know many students want to get out and leave and never look back, but in a small town high school where it's pretty much all you've ever known and kind of a safe harbor, i think it makes sense for graduated seniors to come back and want to still find those aspects of community they had when they were students. especially if they're feeling a little uncertain of their futures.

2021-06-25 19:07:36 +0000 UTCI actually disagree with the comment about Kurt returning to the glee club room. as a theater kid soooo many of my friends go back to their hometowns and help with the school musicals and chorus. to me its weird but also it makes sense for people who don't feel appreciated for their talents in their current life to go back to where they were the stars.

2021-06-25 16:38:12 +0000 UTCRachel’s voice is more traditional Broadway and it would be very hard for me to listen to her often.. Marley has this little rasp to her voice that I appreciate.

2021-06-25 12:24:58 +0000 UTCGlee often paint themselves in a corner and just forgets about it and hopes the audience does to.

2021-06-25 12:19:12 +0000 UTCAgreed about the Puckerman connection… it’s weak and unnecessary.

2021-06-25 12:18:08 +0000 UTCUnique saying how she was accepted with opened arms was so weird to me. Glee club stopped her from being herself twice. What is she talking about 😂

2021-06-25 08:05:43 +0000 UTCI know it's an unpopular opinion, but I always preferred Marley's voice over Rachel's tbh. I don't mind the "Puck's brother" thing in theory, but in general they were just too on-the-nose about the new kids being blatant copies/replacements for specific characters, imo.

2021-06-25 07:01:36 +0000 UTCOn Kurt showing up at Glee. Now this isn't utterly unheard of. Glee is an after school activity, a club. Many places have former students volunteer their time to help clubs that they used to be a part of , or ones now (much later) that their kids are now in. For classes they actually had paid teachers assistants, but clubs, at least where I went and where I taught didn't tend to have much in the way of paid help (though sports was generally the biggest exception). I did it for a couple weeks has my university had much bigger breaks then what my high school had.

2021-06-25 05:53:39 +0000 UTCWhen I went to university I initially doubled major in Vocal education and performance. I could have the same professor teaching a class geared to those going into music education and have that same professor in a class for people who dream of making a career in performing. My experience is that they would treat those looking to perform much harsher. Years later I asked one of them, and the reason I was given is that (and music programs were still very common in schools at this time) is that because it was much easier to get a education job (heck even if you primarily taught another subject) and that making a living performing is brutally hard. So they treated the freshmen terrible. If they couldn't cut it through that, they figured they would never make it int he real world. While I don't agree that its necessarily the best way to push and motivate (and there are plenty of performers who don't have formal training that have managed careers), it was still a method that several professors used. I would be very curious to see how common this remains. Professors have more lee way then most typical High school teachers, but just as teachers have had to adjust what they can do and say in classes over the decades, there has also been some smaller changes with university staff as well.

2021-06-25 05:48:44 +0000 UTCYeah, I do agree with the issue with Blaine. In reality he should have only said that he shouldn't have been going to school, so much. But as for the rest that Lima, isn't for him and that New York is where he should be, I assume that Kurt has talked a lot about wanting to still be in New York. He stating it can be shorthand for conversations that happened over Summer. Glee started out with 4 leads. Will & Sue and the adults around them. And Rachel and Finn and the students and family around them. Once the show started airing, it took off with its younger viewers and it's adult storylines were dropped as soon as possible. And the show really started to heavily focus primarily on Rachel and Finn. And the producers have run with it. While I wish the show was more balanced or moved on from characters as they naturally progress, it was pretty evident that this wasn't ever going to happen.

2021-06-25 05:41:48 +0000 UTCI personally enjoy having Puck's brother. I mean outside of Sue, we have never really season much of any characters having siblings, and none of the kids. I think it only makes sense that we would have at least one student in the Glee club that had a sibling.

2021-06-25 04:31:44 +0000 UTCAlso, the scene with Burt and Kurt was nice, but anyone think should kept it known from the audience that Kurt was going to New York. I think while Kurt was talking to Blaine, he should've only said you don't belong here anymore, not that he belongs in New York. It would've been made a better episode if Blaine just told zKirt that its time to move on. It would've made that whole scene between Rachel and Kurt a lot sweeter and emotional if we didn't know he was going to New York. Especially when he would've told her to turn around. Also, I'm not bashing Rachel or anything, and I have no problem with her, but isn't it funny how she has graduated and the show is still all about her?

2021-06-25 04:02:33 +0000 UTCI know people don't think about this a lot, but when I was in grade school I used to hate wearing uniform. Sure the main reason is for regulation of what we wear, but I feel like a background reason would be if we all look the same, you can't really make fun of someone for what they're wearing. Some kids may only have a few clothes, while others may not have to wear anything twice the whole year. I just thought about that while watching this episode.

2021-06-25 03:55:57 +0000 UTCA lot of fans were bothered by how the new kids were copies of some of the original cast. They even had Jake standing in the back of the auditorium watching the glee club just like Puck did in the pilot episode, but I like Marley and Unique.

2021-06-25 03:36:56 +0000 UTCThe “Puck’s brother” thing actually gets better lol it is kind of weird at first. I’m actually excited you’re on this season I know you’ll enjoy it.
