Fun episode but a LOT of weird coincidences

Also the fact that jor el aka joe took the gun off hiram and as the presumed killer couldve ended his life but instead gave the gun back and pleaded his innocence made hiram believe joe was innocent. It was a display of the incredibly good nature the kents had even back then, to the point hiram even decided to help him escape

2021-06-29 12:06:52 +0000 UTCI think we're supposed to root for Joe/Louise because it's basically Clark and Lana, I just thought the episode was fine. It was neat getting to know that the Kent's were chosen and that Kryptonians were on Earth before. Outside of that? It's weird looking back and seeing a teenage detective agency running out of a high school newspaper lab lol. I forget what year they're all in but it's funny seeing Chloe pull up files let alone having access to said files to get the plot going.

He appeared early on in season 2 in the episode Ryan, he wanted a bribe from Lex in order for Lex to get a permit for an expansion on the LexCorp plant. Lex refused and told him he was going to put his support behind the Mayor's opponent.
