Now that the election's over, I feel more able to share my puzzlement that you thought Leslie would withdraw from the race, or refuse the appointment if she won. Wouldn't that be an insult to all the friends who gave up their time to help her, and when has she ever been less than ambitious for political power that would let her improve the community? Still -- go ahead and enjoy the show in whatever way is true to you. Also, remember that they've said city council is a part-time position. It doesn't prevent her working with Parks and Rec (though I admit that the show can get forgetful or inconsistent about this at times).
