I mean they didn't really show the Blood Eagle. I remember when I watched it for the first time, I was hoping for some more gore lol. It makes this reaction even funnier as Steven was so scared to watch a pretty much family friendly representation of the Blood Eagle, where all it showed was Ragnar's actions and nothing else.

Think of the lengths they went to show his legacy The Sons of Ragnar, they’re meant to be legendary. This man slaughtered many unarmed weak people and were prepared to do who knows what to his babies their mother, his brother etc. I’m glad they showed redemption in the end of him paying the price so he can enter the gates of Valhalla. King H was really going to release him but Lagertha brought the help needed so he changed his mind again lol. Last thought... remember Ragnar observes and plans for the long game. :) I’m glad y’all are reacting to these again!
