I am sure Chief VIck knew he is not the psychic from the episode 1 since his father was in her office and I am sure they came up with this plan, she called him independant consultant right after Jules called him psyhic

great reaction, If Shawn told the truth than all the cases he worked would be put in jeopardy of being overturned because the police allowing a fake psychic to work them, also Chief Vick told Shawn in the first episode if he is lying about it he would face jail time

I guess I dont see how, he is still helping solve cases as a consultant. He does not have to say the Unlawful obtaining of evidence part but the I just remember stuff part. In my mind I dont care if he is a psychic if he figured out how the guy did it and can prove it.

Someone told you before. If Shawn confessed that he wasn't a psychic, the cases he worked on would be reopened and lawyers would find all sorts of lies and crimes (like breaking and entering, false testimony, unlawful obtaining of evidence, etc). They would determine most cases for the people he put in jail a mistrial, and all those murderers would go free and possibly paid a large sum in settlements. And Shawn would go to jail on multiple counts of perjury, b&e, etc, etc... He would be in prison for a long time. And I am not even American, I'm from Romania and still get it. Come on mate.

Gonna be honest by this point I am a bit more upset with Shawn pushing so much as compared to the lying to Jules. I think its kind of rude and obnoxious, and I know that is his character, for him to be pushing so much when Juliet clearly needs some space to deal with what she has learned. I think them getting back into a relationship, or at least whatever they are now, was a bit rushed to me. even though I would be sad if she left for awhile, I almost wish she was away from the show for like 5-6 episodes or at least had no scenes with Shawn for that time rather than this pushiness.
