2022-04-15 02:52:47 +0000 UTCIf you can get past the extraordinary amount of historical inaccuracies of some of those locations, this movie is a lot of fun. Sadly tho, this movie is very traumatic for Brendan Fraser who actually nearly died doing that hanging stunt.

2022-04-14 03:09:59 +0000 UTCI don't blame Evie too much about reading the book. It's easy for us as the audience to know what's about to happen and tell her not to do it but to her it's just an ancient book. It's interesting and there's never been magic or curses in their lives before.

2022-03-01 20:23:20 +0000 UTCThe Mummy- Yay! I love this movie!! Thank you so much for your reaction for it, Steven! Brendan Fraser is fantastic in this movie. I absolutely love him as Rick O'Connell. I love him in other movies too, but Rick in The Mummy is easily my favorite role he plays. He's funny, handsome, and he's a phenomenal warrior who is just fun to watch all the way. I also really love Rachel Weisz as Evelyn Carnahan too. She's spunky, smart, and adorably clumsy. And I love her with Rick. I love their growing relationship throughout the movie. And my other favorite characters are easily Jonathan played by John Hannah, and Ardeth Bay played by Oded Fehr. Jonathan is hilarious and I love his banter with Rick throughout the movie. And Ardeth Bay is mysterious and cool. I love his skills as a warrior. I really love the actor who plays him in so many different roles that I've seen him in. Including Jafar throughout season six of Once Upon a Time. While Jafar's character wasn't used well enough, I do love Oded Fehr as Jafar. Overall... another fun and exciting movie reaction from you, Steven. So, thank you again! I don't like horror movies, so I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that this movie wasn't scary in the sense of horror movies like Friday the 13th and more. The Mummy is definitely fun thriller/comedy, which I appreciated so much. Thank you again! I look forward to many more movie reactions from you. Oh, and regarding the newer released Mummy movie with Tom Cruise... it's not a part of this movie franchise with Brendan Fraser at all. It's separate and really terrible. I wouldn't recommend it. However, there are two sequels to Brendan Fraser's, The Mummy... making this movie a part of another fun movie trilogy. Thank you! Sincerely, Heidi
