Ruined her character? Point of no return? She made mistakes when she was 16 based on the fact that she was scared because she got married way too young. Haley acknowledged and learned from her mistakes. I hold nothing against these kids if they can do that. Haley was great in how she dealt with the aftermath and everything going forward.

2022-04-22 19:08:49 +0000 UTCI actually really loved this episode. haha And yes, Nathan is dealing with Haley perfectly in this episode. I am glad they skipped 3 months because I think taking the show away from Tree Hill is distracting and unnecessary. The show is called One Tree Hill for a reason and you even mentioned last season, that having Nathan go after Haley took away from the show. Regarding writing, I think the writers are trying to reset Haley's character, but honestly, they kind of passed the point of no return tbh. But Haley's characterization in itself reminds me more of a former Haley I miss. I am of course, not on her side, but I think the radio silence for her was a writing/scheduling mistake that they're trying to correct because they sort of ruined her character ngl.

2022-03-08 12:48:03 +0000 UTCYay season 3! Even for what might feel like a lackluster first episode. This is considered to be one of if not the strongest seasons of the show!

2022-03-08 08:21:51 +0000 UTCI mean, everyone left for summer, so there wouldn't have been much drama. The ending is saying that of all the people in the world, just one can make a difference. So that's the theme for this season: the individuals who make a difference, whether for good or for bad. And you're right; they set it up that Lucas and Hayley seemingly didn't meet for 3 months, very odd.

2022-03-08 06:43:52 +0000 UTCI'm not on Hayley's side at this point either. She doesn't deserve pity at all, and she really has to work for it. I like how Nathan is handling the situation. It took me a longg time for me to like her back, like really long. I think the time skip was good because like the previous commenter said, there wasn't much happening during those 3 months. Overall, this season is amazing also season 4 is soo freaking good so I am excited for your reactions fr.

2022-03-08 06:35:07 +0000 UTCSo in the finale of last season you were asking where Brooke got the money to go shopping and this episode asking where she got the money to rent the place. If you recall, she was rich until her father lost his job. Then he eventually got a new job in California, which is why Brooke moved in to Lucas' room so she didn't have to go to California. But now that her dad is back in business, their family is rich again and so she is back to being rich living off her dad. I can understand wanting to not have the 3 month skip but I think they did it because a lot of people would have had boring stories during those 3 months. Karen is gone. As far as we know it was a good trip, uneventful so nothing crazy to show there. Brooke went to California to spend the summer with her parents. We see the photos that she partied and messed around with lots of boys but nothing we have seen so far leads us to feel like anything major of consequence occurred. Nathan was at High Flyers and we heard this episode he had not been contacting Hayley. So really the only people we would have to focus on is Lucas/Hayley/Peyton... I don't know if there was enough drama to show there. We saw Peyton slam the door in her face last season and then we hear Peyton saying 'nothing has happened since that moment.' So I feel like really if we didn't have the time skip we'd just see the three kids still in Tree Hill having no real conflict and just getting along and Dan healing from his wounds.

2022-03-08 05:39:28 +0000 UTCthis episode was a very lame premiere in my opinion lmao but it is setting up storylines and other stuff for the season. this season and next season are really really good so these little boring slow episodes will be forgettable in a few episodes also yeah haley has a lot of work to make up for in this season to have us like her again. i agree with nathan’s feelings 100% and think he’s valid to feel how he does. the whole fire/dan plot is setting up to be something that changes EVERYTHING. so ugh not ready for that but i am ready bc drama❤️🔥
