2022-03-12 00:43:47 +0000 UTCif it isn't explicitly stated that it's over and that you're broken up....then you're not broken up. assuming it's over if it's never been stated is a slippery slope. couples go through ups and downs. fighting and not speaking doesn't mean you're single again and can screw other people. as far as im concerned, he cheated. that being said...i agree with you that logan was very upfront about his love of sleeping around in his early introduction on the show. rory knew this when she got together with him so she honestly shouldn't be that surprised. when people show you who they are...believe them. it's funny to me when people say logan doing this is out of character or just put in the story for drama because logan seems like EXACTLY the type of person who would jump into bed with multiple women before announcing to his significant other that it's over first.

Rory assumed they're still together but needed some time to cool off. It's a lot of assumptions that just screwed it up for them. But it depends on the person what they'd do in that situation. As for Chris, he wasn't a good parent to Rory so I didn't have high hopes about him being a good parent to Gigi. It's just irritating to me that Chris, and even Luke now with him being so adamant that he keeps Lorelai and April apart, are kind of like saying to Lorelai "you don't know how hard it is to be a parent"....like, did they forget her origin story!?!? As a teenager, Lorelai raised a kid with better manners than Chris is doing in his late 30s. Also, your reaction to Lane accepting Zach's proposal was legit so funny. Gotta say without spoiling anything that I'm not a fan of pretty much everything that happens from here onwards. A Year in the Life sort of makes up for it but not nearly enough.

It’s not unbelievable that Logan would cheat, but it’s like they needed ti give them some drama, however we have to create doubt about the cheating because we need to keep Rory and Logan together for now. It’s like they couldn’t make Rory look weak by not dumping him, so we will play the he thought they were broken up card.

2022-03-11 04:14:55 +0000 UTCWell to me, and this is not going to a popular opinion. they didn’t get back together until after the spring semester started so it had to be January? at least 6 week after Thanksgivings. Rory’s birthday is in October they break up the episode after her 21st Birthday I think. So think about it. They breakup and don’t speak for 2-3 weeks? I’d assume we were broken up too. Cheating is a decision to stray when you know you’re in a relationship I genuinely don’t think Logan thought they were together. Rory told her mom they had spoken at all since that fight so I mean?

2022-03-11 03:29:41 +0000 UTCIf one person in a monogamous relationship decides that after a fight that the relationship is over, they can't, without telling the other person first, do anything with anyone else. That's cheating plain and simple. All people that were in the relationship need to know that it's over first. Even if Honor told Rory on Thanksgiving that Logan said they were broken up my $ is on that something happened with at least one of the bridesmaids before Honor's call, which prompted Honor's talk with Logan about it in the first place.

2022-03-11 02:54:51 +0000 UTCI may be wrong, but I think Emily did the wedding announcement in the newspaper…at some point this season Luke mentioned a wedding announcement and Lorelai didn’t seem enthusiastic about doing one, plus one of the voicemails said that Emily told them about the posting (and it’s totally in her character to do, especially just choosing a picture of Lorelai alone).
