I feel kind of bad for Wyatt too. He is trying to protect her. With Liam in any case there was a big power dynamic issue since he would have a say in his parents keeping her and Jude n a safe home. He could easily have threatened to tell his parents he didn't want them in the home if she didn't do things and she may have agreed or pretended it was OK to keep her and Jude together/somewhat safe but that's still coercion. She and Jude depended on his family too much for there to ever be a balanced power dynamic even if at any point she liked him.
