ahh i hit enter too soon but i also want to add i love how you pick up on patrick and david. this show does that really well. it's a genuine, tender thing that's been done so beautifully thus far and i think they did it so well because them being the writers and creators. it's something so beautiful and tender and i love when you said something along the lines of "wow this is going to be something really beautiful isn't it" and i love how they match one another. patrick isn't afraid to call david out on his nonsense and they just feed off one another so well. i also loved seeing alexis' growth this episode. and moira's as well!! when you think about it, alexis has always been alone except for the times david would save her from various perils. her mother was never around for those traumatic events so i'm sure alexis at the start was like "meh, why bother her with this" but as she realized how important it was to her, the more she wanted her mother there with her in that moment. it's such beautiful growth for both of them

2022-03-25 02:12:53 +0000 UTCAnybody who's reacting to Schitt's Creek, I look forward to their reaching this episode. Because it's just awesome, exactly as you said. You appreciated everything about it that's there, too. Particularly the nuance of Patrick, in this situation, being the one who wants to take this step but is scared, and David having the empathy to help him through it. And the warmth between the two of them afterward. This series has lots of good episodes, but this may be my favorite out of all of them. What a wonderful season finale. Just so good.
