I believe Clare wanted to spend some more time with her family back in Australia so she couldnt be involved as much in this show. She is more of a guest star than main cast. I dont think there any problems beyond that π

But I never liked all the seemingly trouble for troubles sake he would cause and all the people he would kill for it would seem, just the fun of it. But then these last few episodes made me really like Kol and feel bad for him and the way his family treated him, actually I even feel bad for Finn.

2022-03-30 09:55:07 +0000 UTCThe actress that plays Rebekah wanted to spend more time with her family after TVD and was not expecting to commit to a long-term role (the originals was never meant to spin off into it's own series, but the characters were so popular). She was originally supposed to play Rebekah for a few episodes when she signed on for TVD. But she loves the character, so she keeps coming back occasionally.
