Is this the first time we've seen rain in Stars Hollow? I don't remember seeing it rain in town before...maybe it's a parallel to how gloomy things are for Lorelai.

She has been waiting forever for him to come around but he is so oblivious, its annoying actually. I love Luke but Lorelai deserves somebody much better, somebody who can actually share his feelings and include her in his life. Atm they are living two completely seperate lives. And the fact that everybody basically met April before Lorelai did must have been so hurtful to her like she is not worthy or trustworthy and when she finally did, she was blamed and Anna got mad and Luke didn't even try to make her feel better at all. He is not ready for anything, let alone marriage, he doesn't trust her, he didn't handle any of this the way he should have. Lorelai is the most understanding woman, when she found out Luke had a kid, the first thing she said was "we can make it work". She is so open minded and it's like Luke doesn't even know who she is. And i LOVE Emily in this episode.

Watching him work out while checking the guests in was funny :P I don't blame Rory for being pissed with the Mitchum article. He crushed her. He told her she didn't have "it" and now he's taking credit for her hard work since coming back to school after her meltdown?! Dick move. Liz panicking and leaving TJ makes total sense. She does regret how she was with Jess, so it makes sense she'd be so freaked out. Their reunion was sweet. Luke needs to take his own advice, he's been acting like a dumb ass for months and I'm over it! Lorelai also needs to talk to him about her feelings. The house....This might be the sweetest thing Emily has ever and will ever do for Lorelai. The fact she put so much effort into thinking about what BOTH Lorelai and Luke would need is heartwarming, and she's completely right. They will need a bigger home if they want kids. I don't blame Lorelai for kind of accepting that it's never going to happen. Luke keeping April and Lorelai apart for months kind of shows he doesn't trust her? It's very telling that he let EVERYONE but Lorelai meet his kid and his whole "You'll barge in and take over" was so out of line. He really hurt her and he doesn't seem to see that. The fact he even wanted to do this separately tells me he is not ready for marriage.
