I watched this years ago excited to rewatch with you. Also if you've ever see Back to the Future Bay's mom is Marty Mcfly's mom. She was also in Red Dawn.

And I think Regina was just still trying to process everything, as well as protect Daphne from the Kennishes. to In my opinion, they overstepped a bunch of boundaries and I think, in addition to her work hours and generally being uncomfortable and defensive around them, that kept her a little too preoccupied to really forge that connection with Bay.

2022-04-18 15:06:36 +0000 UTCI watched this when it first aired, but I didn't complete it at the time as I thought it had been cancelled. I remember really liking it and I remember a few things that happen, but not alot so it's good to watch through again. Also, getting to see the characters a bit more clearly this second time around and, I agree, Bay is completely overlooked in this episode. She annoyed me quite a bit, initially, when I first watched it so its nice to get another perspective. The framing of some shots are also really great when they focus on the hands, or just the mouths and cut the rest out.
