As someone who read the books (and I know the show follows almost nothing from the book), the author is crazy and where you think this is going with Jonathan is exactly where it's going. Jonathan is weird, creepy and I can't help but cringe evertime he is on screen. Now, for Maya and Jordan I don't really mind them because I never really was on the Simon-Maya ship. I've always wanted Simon and Isy together so Maya and Jordan makes sense since they have unresolved things together and once they get past it I think they would be good together. For the apartment thing, it's not really about the apartment it's more of the meaning behind it. Lorenzo did this to show Magnus and all the other warlock that Magnus is not powerful, that he can't fight back, that he is not a threat to him and that he can humiliate and make Magnus do anything he wants. So Alec is mad because it's Magnus' honor that is being tarnished. To finish, I'm not really into the Jonathan should be turned into a good guy thing, but I just don't want him obsessed with Clary in the way he is right now. I wouldn't mind if his obsession is about family and family is superior and family should work together, but they didn't go that route which makes me retract in myself each episode that pass.
