Me: https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/030/710/dd0.jpg The introduction Maya's ("the one girl") dad is important because otherwise you might be left with the impression that everyone in Mount Weather is evil. The guy in charge is obviously an irredeemable bad guy, and there are obviously a lot of people willing to take his orders, but there are many others that aren't willing to accept murdering kids to be able to go outside. I think they said something about there being about 400 people there, and probably the majority are decent people who have absolutely nothing to do with what Cage is doing at all and are basically just trying to live their lives, not unlike people on the Ark.

2022-05-04 18:35:42 +0000 UTCThe splitting up and hiding is about all they can do right now, they have to wait until Clarke and the grounders get there and then Bellamy can help from within and they can win this war. I think as much as I don't agree with the choice, Clarke and Lexa were left with an impossible decision, warn everyone and possibly lose the war or sacrifice everyone so they can win the war. I would have chosen to save everyone and who knows maybe that means I would have lost the war and have my own terrible decision to feel guilty about. Worst case scenario if Clarke and Lexa had chosen to warn everyone, the mountain could have figured out they have someone on the inside, found and killed Bellamy, killed all their friends on the inside, had a cure for the radiation, used their acid fog, missiles and other weapons to decimate the grounders, so had they chosen to save their people now they could have ended up losing everyone.
