Season 2 is honestly such a slog to get through, so I am catching up/binging these reactions so I'll be ready when the first episode of Season 3 is posted. A couple of thoughts: Anna's storyline made me so emotional on this particular rewatch. I'm not really sure why. I've watched OTH through a few times, and for some reason, her character is really hitting for me. Maybe it's because how earnest she is and how genuine she is about moving through the world with her sexuality. It's really moving, honestly, and I although I wished they started to develop Anna in other ways, I'm glad we have her character for this reason. I actually think it's funny how much you dislike Lucas. Most fans do, but in an entirely different way than you do. I honestly don't think Lucas is any worse than Nathan as a character, but I do wish that his storylines were stronger. It's weird how much the writers simply didn't know how to write for his character. I think his storyline of taking Dan down is interesting, but maybe a little naive? It comes from a good place though, and that's another reason why I could never hate Lucas. He is trying to get Dan to trust Lucas, so that it'll be easier to destroy him. It gives endless opportunities to how this progresses.

2021-12-25 13:13:27 +0000 UTCRegarding Brooke. I saw the change in her for a while now. But I guess the main major thing that makes you see Brooke in a different light is happening these episodes. For me was Brooke being able to have a friend like Mouth while at the same time being the same person she was before. I really like their friendship. Regarding Lucas, that end statement was supposed to be the whammy of the Lucas living with Dan arc. Like just the medicine and Keith doesn't explain the bonding with Dan, but this does. So now you should know that Luke doesn't really believe Dan, he's just pretending. Watching the second time after knowing that you can see how hard it was for him to say ''Dad'' to Dan, and it makes for a more powerful moment but I guess you missed it? Regarding Haley and Nathan, they are still technically married and it would be technically cheating if he sleeps with someone else. So I guess it's up to the people involved if they consider it to be actually cheating or not. We'll have to see.
