ugh that ending gets me every time. Louis is just such a complex and well-written character. I totally understand why Jessica had to fire him - Louis's actions left her no choice if she still wants this firm to stay intact. But I also understood Harvey desperately trying to save Louis's job bc that is his whole life. There is no "right side" here bc Harvey is right they all have done illegal fucked-up shit so why can't Louis make that mistake too? But as Jessica pointed out Louis continously creates problems for them and this one just took it too far. As for the ending, I think they were trying to give Louis a moment of growth by not having that scene with Harvey and Louis leaving on his own accord, which I appreciate.
