2022-01-12 03:08:34 +0000 UTCDon't care who wins the awards cause all that stuff is politics and money anyway, but this Dexter reboot has been so damn good. Didn't think they'd be able to keep it interesting going from Miami (which is a murder playground) to this small snow town which is more boring if you just look at it by surface level. But somehow I think the small town feel makes it better because you feel like you know everyone even though we don't. The small town feel makes it so that nearly everyone could have a connection to the stuff happening now and it's nice to see Harrison all grown up so that now he has an actual character.

2021-12-31 15:26:47 +0000 UTCAs to who deserves awards for this reboot, I think the writers have done a great job of fleshing out ALL of the characters, unlike in the first run. We are interested in the arcs of more than just Dexter. But I so think MCH has done a fabulous job of becoming Dexter again, amazing in fact. I will reserve my final judgement on the whole 10 episodes, but so far I'm completely enthralled and think it deserves awards but don't care if it gets any cause the awards are a pile of crap anymore!
