2022-01-17 17:30:18 +0000 UTCI don't really like Monique either but I do think that she's just a kid and she's being brainwashed and controlled by the Ancestors, she's just their puppet, so really the Ancestors are the ones that suck, which they do. But still I don't really find Monique all that interesting as a character but I do like Genevieve, I find her to be a much more interesting character and I feel bad for her as well. After everything that Rebecca did to her when she just wanted a friend, using her, then locking her in a room to die slowly and painfully from disease that Rebecca gave to her was terrible. Also, I feel like all she really wants is to live, I don't think she really wants to be doing all the fighting, the game playing stuff and as we know she definitely doesn't want to kill Hayley or the baby, she just want's to live but unfortunately the Ancestors are using her too, but with less brainwashing and more forced against her will. Anyway, I thought this was a great episode with more backstory about the relationship between Marcel and Klaus and the possible return of Mikael, who I also thought was a great villain they got rid of to soon.

2022-01-05 05:10:23 +0000 UTCSimple explanation on the baby's bloodline: Klaus's baby is part witch, werewolf, and vampire. The baby gets the witch and vampire from Klaus and the werewolf from both him and Hayley. Although Klaus is technically part witch because of his mom, when a witch becomes a vampire they lose their witch abilities (i.e. all the originals), unless under certain circumstances which you will find out and will be elaborated on more in future episodes. Since the baby is born with vampire blood and not turned by using another vampires blood + dying (normal vampires) or magic + death (the originals), the baby will also have access to its witch abilities.
