He may be above the age of consent so legally it may not be considered statutory rape but it is to many immoral not just because she cheated on Mike and to a teen it could be traumatizing to have to keep that secret. Dani telling him to keep the secret to protect his father is manipulative and whether or not he is above the age of consent he is the child and his father needs to be protecting him.

I think they did notify them, but they said the adoption was going through, so they didn't need to renew... I think? Not sure, but either way, I'm sure at that point, it is what it is. The woman who came is just one piece of the puzzle. Who knows what kind of pull she has, or if she is just someone to transport someone. As for the home she went to, that always pissed me off too. You don't lock someone in, but I doubt anyone would do anything about it, because comparatively, she was an angel if you put her against some other foster homes. Again... not an excuse. TIcks me off too, and it needs to be fixed, but that is how our system is. It is hopelessly flawed. Yes, the judge was a douche, but he deals with this day in and day out. Tomorrow it is going to be another Stef trying to get him to wait. He has a family too, and Callie is just a case file to him. I doubt he was keeping her from her family purposely. She doesn't mean enough to be anything more than a number. Don't know what Stef said to convince him though, because trying to block him from leaving was ballsy. Impressive, and I'm proud of her, but ballsy to do with a judge. I do agree with you on everything. It is rage inducing, what was done to her. It's kind of why I love this show though. It shows the reality of what our foster care system is like. If you don't see it, it doesn't matter. It sucks. It's a whole system that is broken.

I highly doubt that. She was CAUGHT once. Brandon is underage, was drunk, and highly emotional. She took advantage of him. Hey, lets call it what it was, she raped him. Put Callie in that same situation, would you see it differently? That is something I have had to do a lot over the years to wrap my mind around certain situations. Would it be okay if it happened to the opposite sex... if not, it's not okay for this sex. Brandon should definitely tell his parents. I'm old at this point, and always side with the "tell your parents" with everything, but in this situation, it 100% tell your parents NOW! No, the girl in the car is not the actresses real sister. If I remember right, there was a lot of talk online during the first season that they needed to get Bailee Madison (the girl in the car) on the show BECAUSE she looked so much like Callie. They definitely do resemble each other.

She adult in that situation and for me, for the majority of s1, if u look back, it does seems like Dani was preying on Brandon. The reason he feels weird with his dad, moving forward Dani, is because he realized fucked everything was.

How in the hell can they justify removing Callie from the home when they are the ones who fucked up by not warning Stef and Lena that their licence was going to expire? Even if they thought Callie and Jude were getting adopted, they still should of let them know! That's their responsibility and they failed! Your telling me that woman who came for Callie couldn't of made a phone call to fix THEIR mess?! Come on! Then there's the home she was sent to. What fucking right does that woman have to lock her in?! I don't give a shit if she thinks Callie is a "flight risk" you never EVER lock anyone inside a room over night! Especially not a child! She said she's a light sleeper, so surely she'd hear Callie trying to leave? Then there's that douche of a judge....He has the audacity to tell Stef he has to get home to his family when he knew she was out there patiently waiting ALL DAY!!! and he just left her there then tried to slip out like a coward? He had the nerve to mention going home to see his family, when he was purposely keeping Callie from her's. Asshole. Proud of Stef for standing her ground with him. Callie deserves parents who fight for her and she finally has that in Stef and Lena. I will say, surely the foster system would of seen Callie's original birth certificate wasn't in her file long before now? How did they never notice this until now?

But yes, it was great casting because the actresses do look alike lol. Also, Brandon should definitely tell his dad or at least one of his moms about having sex with Dani. Like you mentioned yourself, Dani wasn't drunk but Brandon was. Not to mention, Brandon is underage! Soo she pretty much r*ped him!! Ofc, he might not be aware that he has been abused but it is definitely necessary that he says something and soon. I never really liked Dani and sure she had her good moments towards Mike but she lies a lot and she manipulates situations to get what she wants...Mike deserves better! I love s2 soo much! I can't wait to see what you think as it develops π€©
