2022-01-19 11:05:36 +0000 UTCI like Marley but I never really liked Jake, Ryder I had liked a little, now I like Jake a little more on rewatches and don't really like what they started doing with his character, but Ryder I can't like anything about him or watch him with Marley after everything he did to Melissa. So, I didn't really love this storyline the first time, but now I really don't like it.

It's like she's in a normal teenage drama, but this is Glee which is far from normal, so she doesn't fit and I can see why people would find her bland or uninteresting. Although again I actually really like Marley and I realized on rewatches that it's because I was getting sick of some the the crazy storylines they were doing in the show, the ways they were sometimes randomly changing characters behavior and some of the terrible things characters were saying and doing, so I kind of liked that their was someone a little more lowkey or sure maybe bland, I could watch in the show who wasn't about to do crazy or terrible things on a regular basis.

2022-01-12 22:53:57 +0000 UTCA decent episode! The Becky/Artie stuff was super nice and it was funny to see Tyra Banks, but why tf wouldn't they show us Blaine's NYADA audition??? I guess Blaine already sang three times this episode, but come on, what's wrong with a fourth? lol I really love the ending number, and really all the performances from this episode, though. I find the Jake/Marley/Ryder stuff really dumb because they're taking their characters absolutely no where interesting. My hottest take is that Ryder is not even remotely better for Marley than Jake and this entitlement he seems to have towards her makes me super uncomfortable.

2022-01-11 17:51:07 +0000 UTCThis episode was okay for me. Except for Becky and Artie all the other stories felt plot driven without any real heart or genuine movement for the characters. I cannot say that I love every character but I can find something that is great about each one but Rachel has alway been a character that triggers me emotionally about her. She can be kind and a good person. And it is true that she had times of being the victim and bullied. But the thing that bothers me the most about Rachel is she can be just as much as a bully and cruel to others and more times than not she doesn't take responsibility for that behavior. She is more likely to turn the events around so it is someone else's fault for her behavior. Though I will say she is a little bit better this season. I still love the show and I look forward to finishing the series.

I don't always agree with you (I still can't get over that you dissed Rachel's performance of "My man" hahah), but I respect your opinion and it's funny to see things from a different perspective! I like your honesty when there are songs or storylines that you don't enjoy!

2022-01-11 12:53:17 +0000 UTCI really liked when Blaine said he didn't want to go to NYADA. To be honest I really don't think that's the school for him. So I'm annoyed that he didn't mean it.... He IS a performer - but a career on Broadway seems out of charachter for him. Even though we know he can act (West side story...) he seems more of a musician. He shines brigthest when singing while playing the piano. It seems that Blaine is most passionate about that. I see his charachter as a future Singer AND songwriter... And there are schools better suited for such a career... But it would be entertaining seeing him in NYADA aswell, so I get why they write it that way. Great storyline with Artie and Becky! As someone watching Glee mostly for Rachel's story (and voice!!) this was not my favourite stories. The songs however were really good! I like both Sam's and Blaine's vocals! Marley is just the most bland charachter (in my opinion). I really find that good-girl-storylines borring. I HATE what Jake did! (and it seems so out of charachter for him to hurt Marley!) but I like that he is no longer with Marley. I don't mind him dating so many girls - he is young and that's what he wants. The problem is that he didn't break up with Marley beforehand. And now as long as he doesn't promise any of the other girls something he can't keep then he's free to live as he wants. And I don't think it was a good match with Marley. It is 100% fair that Marley doesn't want to take their relationship further, but it is also fair that Jake wants that. He's a highschooler (and he had respected her without pressuring her). But it was so bad of him to cheat - never okay! I love Rachel and I also really like Santana. Santana mostly because of Naya Rivera. But those two living togehter is just one of the most unrealistic thing (that says a lot for this show haha). No way anyone could live with their highschool-bully. When you have been bullied as much as Rachel was by Santana you are truly scared for life. It is a trauma to have been a victim of bullying (just facts...). And Santana doesn't like Rachel. That part is however more believeable because people change and sometime you end up liking someone you didn't use to. That could actually happen... But I get why they did that. It's a way of keeping them both in the show. Both Rachel and Santana were popular charachter's. And Lea and Naya both have great performences on the show. So for the viewers it is nice to have them all together. I just can't help but think about each time...

2022-01-11 10:26:30 +0000 UTCrewatching this, i actually really like this episode! artie was so nice, and blam going to NY and interacting with the other 3 was super cool! although i don't see the same chemistry for klaine that it had in the beginning... idk... jake/marley/ryder is just super annoying, give some storylines to tina or kitty, it'll be more interesting that another teen love triangle. i actually think sam and rachel's interactions were quite cute
