I don’t scour fan sites or GG blogs or pages, but there is never a middle ground when I do stumble on something regarding April. Maybe there are way more in between that just don’t say anything, who knows lol. I like April as well but I’m not a fan of the arc.

Early seasons the area between the kitchen and living room was a bathroom (Dean’s first time over Rory went in to “wash her face”, next time it’s mentioned is when Max sleeps over for the first time and Rory said she had bras or underwear hanging up in there). After those episodes it’s a closet, the Rory & Dean breakup, Lorelai puts her Max box and Rory’s Dean box in there, and in the upcoming episode Lorelai goes into it (unless they store stuff and the bop-it in the bathroom, no judgment 😂) to retrieve a hatbox. It makes no sense to only have 1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms in that big house, the garage is already detached and it seems like the “laundry room” is actually just the back porch?!? I don’t understand the layout of any home shown in the show, Emily and Richards house makes no sense to me, there has to be a bathroom on the main floor but there’s no room for one from what they show of characters walking around unless I’ve just missed it somehow (entirely possible lol).

I agree that there doesn't seem to be a full bathroom downstairs, but it would seem illogical for there not to be a toilet for Rory/guests y to use and not have to go through Lorerlei's bedroom if they needed to pee (especially in the middle of the night)

2022-01-22 15:00:39 +0000 UTCIt’s a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom house…some diagrams show a bathroom in between the living room and the kitchen but most of the show it’s a closet. The upstairs of the house is only the master bedroom and the bathroom, nothing else.

2022-01-20 04:20:42 +0000 UTCI think the reason the reunion was so fast because Lorelei truly wasn't mad at Rory she was more giving her space because she knew if she pushed it would just make things worse. She just missed her and wanted her to do it on her own. It's like the prodigal son story in the Bible. He left and stayed gone because he thought he dad would never accept him into his home again but as soon as he got home his dad celebrated. I think she'd been waiting for that call from Rory for months so when she slowly hears the news that she moved out and she's staying with Lane and applying for jobs, I think she knew it was only a matter of time before she came home....and she was ready with open arms. They also have a very stong but codependent relationship at times. Lorelei really just needed her daughter back in her life and I think Rory didn't want to talk to her mom until she had her shit figured out. She knew her mom was right and she needed to fix it before she came home
