I think you asking if it was legal/"right" for them to allow teenagers with almost zero training to race like that was the right question to ask. In my opinion, Cooper is partially to blame because it was clear to me that neither Lucas or Nathan should have been racing in the first place. Sure, Cooper thought it was safe, but it should have never happened. Also, Dan doesn't know this, but Cooper is the one that gave him the idea about going that fast being a form of therapy.

2022-03-20 15:11:52 +0000 UTCSince you asked, no. Men, especially in this era, really didn't know how to write female characters. Especially not this man, i.e. the creator of the show. He's kind of horrible, if you ever look up anything about him. Also, a lot of people have already spoken about the whole Nathan thing, so I'll just say something more generally as someone who has watched your The OC reactions. When you enter into some things like teen drama, empathy is going to be your best friend. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't be upset at mistakes/choices that they made, but it does mean that it might be good to practice a bit of patience and compassion. Their brains are not fully developed, especially in the area where all decision-making comes from, and they are experiencing an insane amount of emotions and hormones and everything at a extremely high and intense rate. It is hard to forget when we were no longer teenagers how difficult and confusing and heartbreaking it all was. Plus, we know the specific trauma and lack of parental guidance these characters have, which make it all the worse. I think every character deserves a little grace on teen dramas, especially on this show. I definitely think Nathan deserves that in his lowest moment. I am not personally offended by what you thought about the Nathan situation. He's obviously not a real person and part of the reason why we pay to watch you is to get your raw reaction. It is a little disheartening, however, when this is a repeated pattern among your teen dramas about how harsh your comments can get about teenaged characters. When I saw that people wanted you to react to Euphoria, this was the main thing I was worried about - because if you get frustrated with the teens you are watching here, than OH BOY, you've got a big storm coming.

Sadly his reactions are not what they used to be. He has become uninterested, bored and is looking at his phone most of the time. Which is a bummer for me since he's the only reactor I feel to pay for to see the full shows with. I mean this comment as constructive criticism but also as venting as he had countless patreons tell him the thing with the phone for months now and he never as much as mentions it let alone correct his behaviour. This channel its his livelihood and let's just say that if this was a job he had to do he would have been let go a while back.

But for thIs show im glad i dont remember ALOT cuz i was like 7 when i watched it and mainly cuz of my big sisters, so it legit feels like im watching it with him for the first time

Since Brian left I haven't enjoyed any of the solo reactions. Most times you don't even seem to be paying attention. This show is an all time favorite for me and got me through a tough period of time. I'm only here for OTH so take care.

Well, too much. Even though I understood where she was coming from, I do get why she wasn't everyone's cup of tea in season 2. People took sides cuz she hurt Nathan.

As far as myself, I am paying to rewatch something I enjoy w someone who's never watched and hope that person enjoys it as well. It's sort of a way to watch it again for the first time. It sucks when that person trashes your enjoyment. They have a right to their opinions. I would hope they would see it like me but obv that is not a guarantee. Kind of a buzz killer ngl. Anyway, to be as general as possible to not spoil, Nathan is an amazing character. It's still very early so hopefully they see it as well, but if not I don't have to keep watching. We are allowed to react to his reaction. At the end of the day it is just a tv show and I can keep it moving but at the moment Imma tell them to withhold judgment. π€·

Theyβve had mounting problems this whole season and you gotta keep in mind depression is no joke especially over an extended period of time. Also this man was soo in love with Haley he legit sacrificed his favorite thing βBasketballβ and a career in that, which he wouldβve prospered in. He did that without a second thought, such was/is the love nathan has for haley. He legit was in a dysfunctional family and found his sanctuary in haley and the feeing of betrayal of her leaving (whether right or wrong) has def cut too deep. This is beyond clear to see in this seasons arch, i mean this was literally the main storyline of the season. To pass it off as him just being a crazy person who got problems was really unfair & made no sense

He reacts without thinking. Nathan's a kid. They all are. They are going to do dumb stuff and make mistakes. Thank goodness we have 9 seasons to watch them growπ Some of these characters have such a good journey. I've seen some of your OC reactions and you get a little harsh. This show is not that. Though I do agree w you about Marissa. Be as harsh as u want lol.

2022-01-28 11:01:36 +0000 UTCNo offence but you are very wrong about Nathan. His wife left him and it was shown time and time again how much he loved her. We can see the depression he was in. And depression is a recognised disease and it affects people differently, some harder and some less. Until you experience that for yourself it's wrong to judge (as a rule of thumb , Nathan is still just a character in a show) and call people morons. Also, I think it was an excellent depiction of depression, it comes in waves, sometimes you feel better and sometime it hits you, and if it hits you at the wrong moment something like that happens. You should feel bad for Nathan, it's not his fault he ended up where he did. Well, partly yes because he chose to do it but depression is an ugly disease and it can happen to anyone.
