i'm watching the show along with you for the first time via your reactions and i'm a little annoyed by some of the choices being made for characters too. i don't understand the purpose of the mom treking all the way up to the school to save her son, only to get bitten before even making it inside the building. i don't understand the purpose of the girl who had the baby either...unless the baby is going to play some sort of pivotal role later on. the show is good and i am enjoying it for the most part, but it does seem like some events are being thrown in purely for shock value and i'm not a fan of that sort of storytelling.
