Yes. I think Erica perfectly portrays what I picture Lois to be like before growing as a person AND after. Despite that she has growing to do it’s obvious that her heart is in the right place and she’s funny, capable and not just hanging around like Lana to be someone to look at. I think Clark is a better and more interesting person around Lois as opposed to Lana. This is immediately shown. Is Steven a Lana fan maybe? That’s the only thing I can think of as to why he would be so annoyed at Lois showing up.

For real... She became my second favorite character from that first episode just because of how different she was from all the others and just kept showing all her colors as the season went on. This episode was telling some reasons shes as hard as she is. She opens up more and more every time. She is the perfect introduction into who Lois really if as a person. She has a past... struggling in the present only to find herself for the future and shes only 18/19. She makes us laugh too. Steven can't deny that. Her character grows but we also have to look at why shes the way she is. Try to understand her a little more. I sure hope something happens soon that will reach Steves heart strings. This negativity whenever Lois is in the show brings me to my angry place to where I wanna cus.

From a logical POV this episode makes almost no sense. The chase scene at the beginning was what exactly when compared to the reveal? How would Lucy know that Clark would follow her to the Talon, how would she know that he'd go to Lex to ask for $50k for the sister of a woman he barely calls friend? That being said, I really like the episode, for me it shows the vulnerable side of Lois and how she had to grow up fast and I also enjoy their banter because you can already see that it's a facade that came down multiple times in this episode especially when Lois was talking about her sister.

I agree with you that this wasn't a good episode, but I also agree with others that it can be a little off putting how anti-Lois you are the moment she is on screen. I just wish you wouldn't dismiss you so quickly. The end of the episode was such a cute early Clois moment that you just completely ignored because you were bored on your phone. Just fyi. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Season 4 is not great, but season 5 is one of my faves, so just hang in there. I think next episode and a few others to close out the season you will enjoy. :)

I feel like your going to have such a hard time for the rest of the show. I am curious to see your reaction to lois in the later seasons as she starts to mature but your hate for her is too great I think lol Kind of makes it hard to watch you reaction when you already hate an ep just because lois is the focus, especially since you start to look at phone when your bored like you do with so many of your other shows. Lucy wasn't a pointless character here, it gives background and growth to lois character. Lois right now is shown to have strong morals but is mess as a person because her childhood was a mess and her dad sucked as a parent. Not saying you have to love her but if you scuff, ignore her dialogue and hate her on sight every time, you will miss her character journey (which I think is really great ) and how she starts to change.

Yah this ep alright not the best but again you hating everything associated with lois aint gon help things no-how. Like 1 min in when you realized lucy was connected to lois you just up and hated lucy. By the end of the episode ofc most people disliked lucy, But Dude next episode will def be your fav. BRO.... If its not, then i'll just give up hope at that point lol 'til Season 5 at least. But im not gonna lie as soon as the episode ended and steven paused, looked directly in camera and said "Yah, lois has to go" I died laughing lmao

So I think you are starting to see why people don't really like season 4. At least some people like the Lois stuff but even I have to admit the plot for this week's episode was pretty poor. The twist wasn't really that interesting. And the Lana stuff has become a bore. The only good thing I can tell you is that there are some great episodes left in the season. Out of the 6, I honestly like all of them for different reasons. The best I can describe this season is that it has a bunch of peaks and valleys. The peaks are really good and then the valleys are like this episode. The only thing for me is that it seems to even out a bit by the end and by generally enjoyable going forward. This was the only episode that really bothered me in the back half of season 4. Everything else was decent to pretty good (like the alicia episodes).
