I'm the opposite, I despise the new actress and her overacting. She delivers every line like its some philosophical dilemma, doesn't matter that she is talking about the dullest of topics. Her facial expressions are the same, I have no idea what she was trying to go for. Not only is the acting obnoxious its also the furthest from how OG Esther would talk. Compare that with Kol's actor here, or how Matt Davis played Klaus in TVD, where you can immediately see the similarities.

They daggered him for 900 years for being dull, boring and judgmental..900 yearsssss bro he didn’t deserve that so him wanting them all dead and being suicidal when he woke in TVD made sense to me!! Also absolutely love the actor who plays him here 😬
