Her name is Mayim Bialik and when she was younger she was the main character in a TV show called Blossom. Afterwards she earned a PhD in neuroscience. In the season 1 episode "The Bat Jar Conjecture" when the guys competed against Sheldon in the physics bowl game, they were looking for a fourth for their team before going with Leslie Winkle. Raj mentions two women who he had in mind, one is Danica McKellar who used to be Winnie Cooper in The Wonder Years and has since then earned a degree in mathematics. And the other one he suggests is "TV's Blossom".
