That shit was known forever though. I remember hearing about it on old chat boards clear back in the day. Honestly, it SUCKS how Joss handled things. However, I do see why he was pissed. He had good reason to be. How she handled things was pretty unprofessional. However, he was even more unprofessional in how he reacted. It sucked all the way around.

The sad thing is that everything else happening on the show is actually really good. But this one dumb thing clouds everyone’s thoughts about this season and Cordy sleeping with Connor is it. My advice to you is to try to concentrate on all the good stuff happening and try to ignore the Connor stuff.

And now, knowing what we know today and watching that last scene again, it’s even more cringe than we originally thought. And a well deserved “Fuck you, Joss” is still owed to him for this.

They make the point that he's at least 18, but he's still the baby that Cordelia fed and cared for. The problem is more that the original teen Buffy cast were hired as adults, so they were way older than they should have been, particularly CC.

2022-02-19 17:49:37 +0000 UTCLOL....that's how we all feel. It's gross. However, please don't give up. Season 5 is a great season of Angel and I think it will restore your enjoyment of this show. There are some flaws, but the production value goes way up. I always remember hating season 4 because of the Connor and Cordy thing, but there is some really great stuff in this season, too. The Connor/Cordy thing is just so gross that it overshadows everything else in my memory. I will say that it's very painful watching these episodes one week at a time, because it makes it last longer for you. It's less painful if you binge it and just get through it. I feel like this arc wouldn't be as bad if the actor looked older...like if they had him come back after being in the hell dimension for like 25 years, or something...but the actor looks like he's 16. Do yourself a favor and just binge it if you can...even if you don't post the episodes on Patreon right away. The longer you wait between episodes, the angrier you'll get...and you'll contemplate giving up on the show, but please don't....
