Thirteens talk with Foreman wasn't helpful, she admitted she felt alone even though the girl wasn't dying and was still into Thirteen. Just proved that she was really connected with the idea that they were both in the same boat when it comes to terminal illness, so when she got healed, thirteen lost interest. Foreman pointed out "she gets to live". Thirteen doesn't, so I guess this whole experience made her even more depressed and hopeless.
