I SO missed Richard Harris's take on Dumbledore when Gambon first took over the role. To me, Harris's Dumbledore was more faithful to the source material. Gambon seemed more like a crackpot wizard than a wise powerful school headmaster. But I was happy to discover that Gambon eventually grew into his role, and grew on me.
