These are my confessions. I agree with the ladies above. I also think Iris kind of ran away before he could response, now on the 2nd confession when he got strapped in, he could have said a couple of words. I've been waiting for this moment the whole season, top 5 WestAllen moment for me. Love that all 3 father figures were there.

But Barry is dealing with too much atm to concentrate on what that could mean for him. Him being too overwhelmed to speak, said enough in my opinion. Plus, they're sure as hell gonna talk about this in more detail later on ;)

Iris' confession was beautiful, (it truly made me tear up) and I think it needed to happen when it happened, but also, Barry was in the midst of this huge life-changing decision that could have devastating consequences. This is what Barry had always wanted, and you could tell he was ecstatic and surprised. Also, a sense of relief. And I don't really think Barry necessarily had to say anything? We already know how Barry feels for Iris. In other words, Barry already put himself out there. It was Iris' turn and I actually liked seeing Iris in this position where she's vulnerable and ready to be with him and she has to wait until he's ready. And we know that he is in love with her, but has huge things to deal with in the present. If Barry and Iris are truly in it for the long run, I think they both understand that waiting to deal with it is probably the best option.

There was already this big decision here and learning in that moment that what you wanted for years is now a real possibility was just too much. They will talk about it for sure once this crisis is averted.
