2022-09-20 04:50:14 +0000 UTCI don’t mean to sound like a broken record but I agree with you about Beck. I realized the reason that I liked him when I was young was that he’s good-looking. Now, that I’m older, a lot of the stuff he does bothers me. And the show wants to make him the “normal” one with the over-the-top hysterical girlfriend. And I agree, it would be much better, if the show played Beck just as “bad” as Jade is - it would even be more entertaining.

I think most defense for beck is that he doesn't flirt with girls, but he lets them flirt with him and he thinks that makes it okay. And yeah, Jade is actually a very controlling girlfriend. I wonder who started it cause i think that says a lot. Like if Jade was controlling first, then one could say Beck lets girls flirt to retaliate. But if Beck let girls flirt, then that's why Jade is controlling. I think they can be a cute couple sometimes, but they are pretty toxic. I always shipped Beck with Cat cause he's protective of her and they just seem cute together. I feel like you would like Jade with this other person that is teased later on...
