I love this whole episode, but the scene with Patrick panicking over the idea of telling his parents, even though he knows they're good people, because of his fear that it might change their relationship -- that's breathtakingly true to life. As Noah Reid hasn't had that particular experience in his own life, it's all the more testimony to his superb skill as an actor, because he made it real, every moment of the episode.

2022-09-28 17:43:25 +0000 UTCDavid and Patrick are my favorite most wholesome couple in any show. Ben and Leslie come in second. It was so sweet to get a story with a happy result to coming out. I feel like often times there's so much drama (which is sadly real) so it was great to have it all work out.
