I'm also glad the whole Mr Chavez thing is over. What is with Hollywood romanticizing student-teacher relationships??? Honestly, I think this short lived arc only existed to solidify Brooke and Rachel's friendship, and maybe be the rebound relationship for Brooke so she could be truly ready to move on?

2022-09-29 13:31:29 +0000 UTCI agree with the above. I think it was shot that way to make us assume Rachel was going to flirt or do something and throw us off about Nick being trash. Even though a teacher dating a student was already trash. Now he's extra lol. I'm glad that storyline is over. As for the point of it, sometimes there doesn't need to be a point. I think it was just a snapshot of Brookes life in the moment. I'm happy that Mouth didn't give into temptation to be with the models.

2022-09-29 11:26:53 +0000 UTCI think the way they shot that scene with Rachel was because we were supposed to assume the worst about her and I think she was flirting with the teacher, I think she was doing it as a test because she didn't think he was a great guy and wanted to see what he would do. Although I could be wrong about that, they could have just shot it poorly, so we would assume she was lying. They could have been doing this storyline to get Rachel and Brooke closer, as well as showing how Rachel has grown since Cooper or maybe to show the difference between someone like Cooper and someone like this teacher. While it might have been rushed, I'm happy it was because I was not a fan of the storyline.

2022-09-29 09:02:46 +0000 UTCI was just too happy the whole Brooke and the teacher thing was over. I guess they put that in there to let Brooke and Rachel become closer friends. You can see that as bitchy as they are to each other, there is real loyalty there.
