2022-10-07 04:45:25 +0000 UTCThe first ones with Octavia weren't incredible by any means but they at least felt fun and I can appreciate some Harry Potter parody any day of the week but this set of episodes just felt especially flat. Like it felt like there's jokes we are meant to be already in on but aren't. Like the board all being children, the palstic balls, wizards hating plastic, the advertisements, etc. I just felt like I was missing something. It reminded me of how in high school drama we were divided up into groups to write commercials and every group did something parodying something they thought was so funny like a meme or funny video but no one else who knew what it was meant to be got it and we all got yelled at by the teacher lol it felt like that, like the writing room had a bunch of inside ideas they wanted to throw together that maybe made sense to them but to everyone else it's a mess lol
